This is a personal project and not a commercial website.
It's purpose is to store a backup of my own Swarm/Foursquare check-in data and provide some additional statistics and visualizations on top of it. You are welcome to create an account and use it for yourself, but please note that there is no guarantee that this service will remain online in the future, and there is no support or warranty provided.

This privacy notice for “Swarm Intelligence” describes how we handle your personal data when you use our website.

Data we collect

For any visitor to our website, we collect the following personal data:

IP address

For logged in uesers, we additionally collect the following information:

Browser type and version
Last login timestamp
Foursquare authentication token
Any information exposed to their Foursquare account via these Foursquare personalization API, including:
- Profile information (email address, name, profile photo)
- Checkin history
- Photos uploaded to Foursquare

How we use your data

This data is only exposed to the specific users. Data gathered from different users is never combined or shared between users.

Data requests from law enforcement

We do not share any personal data with third parties, except to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests.

Third-party services

In addition, we load images (photos, avatars, stickers, etc) directly from Foursquare’s CDN (currently Fastly), and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. See the corresponding privacy policies of these services for details on how they handle your data:
